What People Are Saying About Us
Dr. Brian Hester
Brian, you're a Doctor of Chiropractic care and your office is next door to us, who are the types of people that you typically serve?
Working in Anthem since 2003, we see patients from birth thru our oldest patient which is currently 92 years old. We serve people who are tired of feeling sick all the time and want to regain their health.
What are some of the benefits that people gain by seeing you in your office?
Our philosophy is that human beings experience stress in three dimensions: the physical (be fit), bio-chemical (eat right) and psychological (think well). In order to move toward total wellness, all three dimensions must be addressed at the same time.
One of the most unique aspects of our Creating Wellness system is that we are able to measure how you respond to stress and how it affects your well being. The assessment is comprehensive and a wellness quotient (WQ) is calculated. We can determine if you are aging properly according to your chronological age or if you are aging prematurely. Then we can pinpoint areas to focus on and customize a wellness program to meet your specific needs and to slow the aging process.
Is Chiropractic care something only a person with back issues would seek out or are there services you offer to people in good health who would benefit and if so, what are some of those services?
We see patients for much more than just back pain. In our office about 25% of our practice is kids with problems like ear infections, bedwetting, colic, asthma, ADD/ADHD. We also do nutritional coaching/counseling to help you get the most out of your health. People use Chiropractic to stay well because normal spinal alignments increase immune function and decrease the chances of you getting sick.
You mentioned to me that you have a very special gift offer to patients of Majestic Dentistry, what is the gift offer and how can someone take advantage of that?
Our special gift is an opportunity to find out how Chiropractic can improve your health and your overall quality of life. This includes a thorough evaluation with any necessary x-rays to see exactly what your Wellness Quotient is. We'll then explain the findings of your current state of health and answer any questions you might have. This diagnostic evaluation is normally $225.00 but is FREE as a compliment to the friends and patients of Majestic Dentistry. Just give our office a call at 623.551.6677 and tell our staff Majestic Dentistry referred you.
How would you describe your experience as a patient at Majestic Dentistry?
My experience with you and your staff reminds me a lot of my practice. I really appreciate the personal phone call I receive after my visits to check on my progress. Your care and concern for me is the way I want to be treated. I tell all my patients to go see Dr. Wolf and will never see another dentist as long as I live in the valley. I really enjoy the fact that I matter and am not just a number.

Q: I tried to kiss my boyfriend the other day, but he turned away and told me I had bad breath – I was mortified! What can I do?
A: It's embarrassing, but we're glad he was honest with you, since he might not be the only one who's noticed. We're often up close and personal with our patients when we're seeing them, so we're conscious about having fresh breath. Here's what we know:
Watch your diet. What you eat affects the way your breath smells, so avoid foods like onions and garlic, which contain sulfur compounds that give them – and your breath – a strong odor. Cheese, orange juice, and soda (including diet soda) can also cause bad breath.
Brush and floss. Brush after eating and before going to bed, and floss once a day to remove food particles that can decompose and attract bacteria.
Think ahead. If you know you won't have time to brush after lunch, pack a Colgate Wisp, which is a disposable mini toothbrush that comes with toothpaste and can be used without water. Wisps are available in three flavors – peppermint, spearmint, and cinnamint.
Drink water. Even if you don't eat for hours, at least drink water to help wash away food particles and bacteria. In fact, people get "morning breath" because there's less saliva in their mouths to wash away bacteria during the night.
See Us! Getting regular dental checkups and professional cleanings will help prevent tooth decay and gum infection – two conditions that can cause bad odors in your mouth.
If you follow all these tips but still have bad breath, talk to your doctor. You may have an underlying medical condition, such as a sinus or lung infection, digestive issues, postnasal drip, or diabetes that could explain the condition.
This is a classic time of the year for setting new goals.
A key factor with making your goals a reality is to write them down. Another helpful strategy is to make your goals public and enroll other people to support and encourage you along the way. As part of my commitment to help you make 2011 your best year ever, I'd like to offer my support by inviting you to post some of your goals at our Blog. Just click on the link below to describe your goals and we'll blow as much wind into your sails as we can to encourage you along the way.
